Malcolm Little joins the Nation of Islam believing that they had an army of militant Black men ready to fight their white oppressors only to discover years later that the organizations leader was quietly receiving large sums of money from a wealthy white man in the oil industry to keep the Nation of Islam passive and non-violent in the face of brutality from racist whites.
To make matters worse Malcolm comes to the realization that the NOI only attacks and murders members of their own race, and won't dare lay a hand on white people. Malcolm X was murdered by members in the NOI on February 21, 1965 an act that prevented Malcolm X from taking the case for reparations for African-Americans into the United Nations World Court resulting in Black folks being in "social shambles" in the year 2018.
