In February 1946, Columbia, TN, was the site of the first major post-WWII racial confrontation, known as the Columbia Race Riot. But as you'll hear, there might be better words to use to describe this event. Today we meet with two local pastors, Trent Ogilvie and Russ Adcox, leaders of the Stand Together Fellowship, to talk about the Columbia Race Riot. What happened? What impact did it have locally and nationally? 75 years later, why is it so important that we continue to discuss it? We'll also talk about the Stand Together Fellowship and why an accurate understanding of our community's history is so important to understanding the present and creating a better future.
